.....God created the heavens and the earth. Notice how he says "HEAVENS". I bet you didn't know there were three heavens . The starry heaven, the cloudy heaven and the heaven where "God" and his angels reside. But, seeing as how he's omnipresent (everywhere, all the time) I'm guessing he's just more potent there.
Just goes to show I'm not ignorant to the biblical teaching. I'm pretty much know the bible front and back. They say scientists are wrong about a lot that some things shouldn't even be pondered because its all in the book. Rainbows for instance, God puts it there to remind us about the promise. What promise? You ignant som'bitch I cant believe you dint know about the promise. Remember Noah's ark? You know when God destroyed the world with water. Yeah well he put a rainbow in the sky as a promise he will never do it again. So explain global warming... According to those ignorant stupid scientists who know nothing about the world, global warming is melting the northern ice cap. If that happens, the sea levels are going to raise, causing destruction, devastation, and possibly an ice age! Great job human race. Making God contradict himself. After he created you! What were you thinking? But naw, he can fix it. He's omnicient (all knowing), right? He saw this coming.
It just doesn't make sence anymore, now that we know so much about the world. Like the after life. There are chouices. You be perfect, no lying, stealing, tthe whole 7 yards(get it) and go to paradise, where everyone's happy, you never need anything, things are perfect, the streets made of pure gold. Or you can live what todays world would call a normal life, and go straight to hell, where you'll burn for eternity in darkness. Now, tell me how much sence that makes? Before you go calling me ignorant about the perfect thing perfect isn't exactly what I mean. Depending on your branch of Christianity, there are certain requirements. To be baptised, in water and/or fire, to accept Jesus as your saviour, to stop idolizing other people and objects to worship God 1 or more days out of the week, and give tithes(10% of your earnings). Y'know, You only have 90% left, doesn't sound like much, but what if you're making 1000 a week, you tithe once a week, and you're left with 900. But wait... You worked for 1200, after taxes and God, you're left with 900 bucks. Now, can you honestly tell me where that money's going? God can't spend it, he's poor, he has no money. He doesn't need money, Poor, but that's ok because he never has to eat.
Jesus. he was the perfect man, an encarnation of God's glory and power. The guy that saved Humanity from sin. Which brought about grace, replacing the biblical law. We still have to follow the law, but now we can just ask for forgiveness, rather than killing a sheep. now Jesus was a powerful man. He could perform miracles in the blink of an eye. Healing the blind, Raising the dead, healing the sick, turning water into wine, feeding 500 with 2 fish and 5 loaves, walking on water, raising himself from the dead, all of this and he never sinned once, never had sex, for 33 years, all he did was the good work of God, his biological father. There has never been a man without a human father, or that could do such things before. Nor was there one after. This magic man came outa nowhere, left, and never came back. What a guy! That noone alive has never seen.. There's no evidence of him ever existing, or of his miracles.. Well.. None except for the 'Holy Bible'.
Christians.. Y'know they say all the other religions are wrong. That means, everyone around the world that isn't a christian, doesn't believe in God, and isn't a follower of Jesus is an idiot. Heathens! Lets look some types of Christians:
- Active Christians: Believe salvation comes through Jesus Christ, are committed churchgoers and Bible readers, accept church leadership positions and invest in personal faith development through the church. They also feel obligated to share faith, and about four out of five do so.
- Professing Christians: Also are committed to "accepting Christ as Savior and Lord" as the key to being a Christian (almost 9 in 10), but focus on one's personal relationships with God and Jesus more than on church and Bible reading and sharing faith.
- Liturgical Christians: Predominantly Catholics and Lutherans who regularly attend church, recognize the authority of the church, and maintain a high level of spiritual activity, mostly expressed by serving in church and/or community.
- Private Christians: The largest and youngest segment. They believe in God and in doing good things but not within church context. Only about 1 in 3 attend church at all.
- Cultural Christians: Do not view Jesus as essential to salvation. They are the least likely to align their beliefs or practices with biblical teachings, or attend church. They favor a universality theology that sees many ways to God.[7]
I know there are some 'Christians' reading this now. Which one are you? It doesn't matter, IMO. All are an equal waste of time. People aren't even sure of the meaning of the word christian anymore!Lemme help you guys out:
| 1. | of, pertaining to, or derived from Jesus Christ or His teachings: a Christian faith. |
| 2. | of, pertaining to, believing in, or belonging to the religion based on the teachings of Jesus Christ: Spain is a Christian country. |
| 3. | of or pertaining to Christians: many Christian deaths in the Crusades. |
| 4. | exhibiting a spirit proper to a follower of Jesus Christ; Christlike: She displayed true Christian charity. |
| 5. | decent; respectable: They gave him a good Christian burial. |
| 6. | human; not brutal; humane: Such behavior isn't Christian. |
So now it's more than a religion.. It's HUMAN. To be DECENT and RESPECTABLE.
The meaning I learned was to be Christlike. To strive to be like Christ, but remembering that you aren't perfect. I learned that forgiveness is powerful but it isn't to be taken advantage of. Asking God to forgive you, and repenting cleans your slate. Then I learned.. I had to give 10% of my earnings to the church every time I got paid and I had to give an offering every week as some kind of tip for the churches services. even though it's mandatory to go.. So what if I have no money..? What happens then? I'M NO LONGER HOLY OH NO! But wait.. I'm paying 10%, and so is everyone else.. Me + 9 other holy Christians equals a full salary. The enrollment of the church is around 70. Now that does include children, and unemployed people. Let's say 30 tithe every other week. THAT'S 3 TIMES ANYONE'S SALARY! What do they do with all that money?? Hand it to God? He ain't got no hands. Of course, the church has bills.. But the building isn't used more than 3 days a week. Maybe 1 salary goes to bills. Let's say one goes to contracting, and food(And even communion). That still leaves 1 more salary. That one goes to God's bank account. -winkwink- I stopped giving so much when the pastor bought a new car.
I'm sick of religion. It's one of the main causes of war and death, and it's stupid. People only have religions for a sense of security, to know that there's a greater power and that he's in control. WRONG. How much control can he have if he can't effect anyone's free will unless they allow him to? 'THE END IS COMING REPENT" It's called global warming, but science is wrong. UGH. K I'm done.
